Hello,

It's been years since I have published anything on this blog!  Anyway I've been baking up a storm making real edible cakes! Yes that's right.  I've changed from diaper/nappy/towel cakes to edible cakes.  I will post something shortly and keep you posted with a range of styles.

Baby baby baby!!!

I baked another Bicycle Diaper Cake on the weekend for my friend Tracey who saw the Diaper Cakes I baked for my sister and wanted one when she was due.  I will post a photo of the latest one shortly. 

Bridal Shower Towel Cake

I wanted to take a unique gift for my next invite to a Bridal Shower.  So after baking the Diaper Cakes for my sister I thought I should bake a Bridal Shower Cake!

Bridal Shower Towel Cake was baked with;

• 2 Bath Sheets
• 2 Bath Towels
• 2 Hand Towels
• 2 Face Washes

(two colours - cream and brown)

 I had so many lovely comments and the Bride-to-be was so happy when she saw it. 

My Sister's Baby Shower

Flower Diaper Cake - This was for my sister's baby shower.  It was baked with diapers, artificial flowers, face washes and teddy bear.  All items are useable for the baby!!! But I didn't just stop there!!!!! I also baked
a Bicycle Diaper Cake that includes diapers, bibs, face wash, bottle, booties, fleece blankets and a toy link.
I purchased so many items for my sister's baby, I just couldn't resist! My first niece!  So I thought what else can I bake for her……..Then I decided to bake a baby bassinet to add most of the items she will need.  I had extra diapers and decided to bake a standard diaper cake. She was so happy with all the cakes I baked for her and as you can see most of the colours are pink! My sister found out she was having a little girl............well she better be cause all of these items cannot be returned!!!!!! lol

Bicycle Diaper Cake is baked with;

• 40 Diapers
• 2 Bibs
• 2 Fleece blankets

• 1 pair of socks

• 1 Face wash

• 1 Bottle

• 1 Plush Teddy Bear

 Flower Diaper Cake is baked with;

• 40 Diapers
• 8 Face wash
• 1 Blanket
• 1 Plush teddy bear
